Private pages (password protection)With URL password protection service you can password protect entire areas of your site. Only the people who have passwords will be able to access these areas. There are two ways to activate and manage this service. The first one is more suitable for beginners and for people who plan to use this service once in a while. The second one is for more experienced users who plan to use it quite often. Prior to trying any of these ways, you have to order "URL password protection" first via Control Center - Enable / disable services. The easiest way to manage users and their access rights is to use facilities located in the Control Center. Be careful when you add users or give them access rights to certain pages - incorrect settings can prevent visitors from viewing some parts or even the entire site. Another, more complicated way of user management is using .htaccess files in all the directories you want to protect.
