Control Center-Configure servers-Aliases and forwards
This page is used to set up and change the configuration of your mailboxes. You can choose a mailbox login name when creating it, however the mailbox login names are shared among the HOSTEX system users so it might happen that 'michael' might be already taken, but that is not a problem, because you can create a mailbox with login name 'michael1' and add the alias michael@your-domain.com, which is the address to send email to, whereas 'michael1' is your pop3 login name used to retrieve email. The number of aliases at HOSTEX is unlimited and they are free. You can create a mailbox 'michael333' and aliases administrator@yoursite.com, webmaster@yoursite.com and michael@yoursite.com. All the mail sent to those addresses will be put into your mailbox 'michael333'.
You can also redirect your mail to other servers at "Aliases and forwards" page without even ordering the mailbox. Clicking "Add new alias or forward" link and configure "sent to" and "forwarded to" email addresses. Please note that destination email address is only one. If you need more than one destination to forward to, you have to order new mailbox and use "mailbox forwarding" that can be accessed via "Aliases" link in the mailbox configuration page. You can also change your email password via the "Mailboxes" page.
You can also use autoreply and e-mail catcher services.
