Control Center-Configure servers-Administration users
On this page you manage administration users with an access to your server resources by FTP, SSH (a more secure telnet analogue) or MySQL database. Right on the page you can see the list of existing administration users. You can change their access permissions, passwords and remove these users by clicking appropriate links. "+" symbols in the main page show permissions granted for the user.
Follow "Modify" link to manage all permission setting for the user. FTP access can be limited to certain root directories from drop-down menu. Choose the directory from the drop-down menu and type in the subdirectory in the next text box if necessary. E.g., a user with an access to directories under absolute "/www/alpha/beta/" path can be set up by choosing "/www/" from the list and writing "alpha/beta/" in the textbox. This directory will become a root directory of this administration user. You can also limit access to your databases. Let's say you want some users to be able to view, but not modify a database. Just let them have access only to the 'SELECT' statement and that's it. The database access options for each user include rights to: select, delete, grant, alter, insert, create, reference, update, drop and index database.
